Petits Uni-Verres

Petits Uni-Verres* : unique, entirely handcrafted art objects. Each Petit Uni-Verre is a delicate assemblage of paper scraps, fabric, wire and beads, decorated with acrylic, watercolour or ink, and preserved under a recycled miniature glass dome.

These creations draw their inspiration from the very source of my inner child. They are an invitation to reclaim a soul-nourishing habit — the art of escaping the everyday through attentive observation of the real world, seeking out the smallest fragments of poetry hidden within it.

Tiny universes that fit in the palm of your hand. Creating, gazing at these Petits Uni-Verres, exploring their details, losing yourself in them... is to rediscover the magical world of the invisible, the unspeakable. To find again the mischievous joy concealed within the minuscule.

* The French title Petits Uni-Verres is an untranslatable triple wordplay: "petit univers" (tiny universe), "verre" (glass, referring to the glass dome), and a whisper of "vers" (verse, poetry). It has been kept in French to preserve its full poetic resonance.
