Two portholes open onto the same jungle, and in each, a juggling ant goes about its work with absolute concentration. One tosses balls into the air, the other spins its clubs — two minuscule circus performers, lost at the heart of monumental vegetation, who seem to have found in this place the finest big top imaginable. Two fragments of a single breath, two ways of inhabiting the world with grace and lightness.

Same technique, same patience: offcuts of heavy paper painted in acrylic, cut with a scalpel, assembled in successive layers on foam board to create the depth of a diorama. The circular mounts frame each scene like lenses trained on the infinitely small — and the infinitely alive.

A unique, signed piece. Framed and ready to hang. A double window onto a world where vegetation reigns in its full majesty — and where its inhabitants remind us, with quiet irony, that lightness is not frivolity: it may well be the most closely guarded wisdom of all living things.
