La Source — Framed Illustration

Inspired by a walk through the heart of the Basque Country, La Source captures the held moment when water is born from the earth. This poetic illustration traces the journey of a single drop — from its aerial fall to its rest in the still mirror of a spring.

Each element tells its own story: touches of watercolour evoke the shifting reflections of water; embossed reliefs suggest the presence of the mountain; and a thread of silver, hand-stitched, traces the delicate path of the falling drop.
